Message	Engine went bad - Did not do well on the leak down test. At that time when you purchased a new engine and/or transmission from the factory (Probably the same today) they sent you the most updated versions. The 1990 TTs had a weak auto tranny and mine went bad along with the engine at about 125K. I do not know what made the engine go bad (Maybe excess heat?). The 1995 spec engine had all the Nissan updates/recalls performed. Generally, I think it runs smoother with the new engine and transmission which was installed in 2001 by United Auto Sales, New Castle, DE. :
